Hello, I am Kentaro Sato, who established this website.

I was born on August 15th, 1991, in Sendai, Japan.

Date Masamune

I was named Kentaro because the sound “Ken” is easy for foreigners to pronounce, just as Arthur Schopenhauer’s father named his son “Arthur.” After all, the name’s spelling does not change throughout Europe and is useful for international business.

But during my childhood, what occupied my mind was drums. Since 2006, when I entered a junior high school, I have been playing drums and percussions. I consider myself as a musician and percussionist, and I upload videos playing percussions.

In 2010, I entered the University of Tokyo and was into European languages such as German, French, and Russian.

In 2011, I went to Munich to study German at Goethe Institute. There I learned various values which are different from those prevalent in the Japanese and the American media and lifestyles.

In 2016, while investigating President Trump, I found that he had registered “Make America Great Again” as a trademark in 2012, which made me interested in registered trademarks. Since then, I have registered 4 trademarks ( MARKINT, AstroInfo, KEN COACH, and Aoyama Capital: links jump to Japan’s TM platform website)

In 2017, I established Aoyama Capital, Inc.( currently MARKINT JAPAN, Inc.), a private fund-like company at Minami-Aoyama, Minato-ku. I made the company that reduces management costs to the utmost limit to increase its value and assets effectively. Its headquarter is registered in a virtual office. The accounting system is a cloud-based “MF Cloud Accounting” and shared with our accountant through the Internet. I started using G-Suite, Microsoft 365, Slack, Box, and Zoom to accomplish a completely remote working experience for communication. All documents are scanned and stored in cloud servers so that wherever I am, I have access to the materials.

At first, I traded Japanese and American stocks. Later, I began to trade futures and options. I learned options trading from Mr. Nassim Nicholas Taleb.

My great investment successes are UZABASE, Inc., BrainPad, Inc., IR JAPAN HD, Takara HD, and Agora HG. For the first 3 companies, the biggest reason for the success is that I decided on investment due to quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis, especially considering Japanese business customs. As for Takara and Agora, special demand for the companies where the fundamental financial efficiency was improving.

I attended as many general meetings as possible for a better understanding of the companies I invest in. When I attended the general meetings, I tried to ask at least one question to the management.

In 2018, I entered Waseda Business School.

Besides, there I worked on several private equity investments. I was obsessed with the idealistic “digital transformation” and learned about computer science, programming, SaaS, and so on. I had a chance to invest in a private CtoC platform company, but some Chinese funds offered a more attractive investment than mine, so the deal was unsuccessful.

In 2021, I began to invest in gold, Vietnamese stocks, and Russian stocks. During the great market turbulence in 2020 due to the corona pandemic, I strongly felt the importance of portfolio diversification in countries and currencies. In 2020 I was trying to face the chaotic market only with Japanese stocks and options. That was a tough experience and told me that diversification is the key.
